Here are some art projects of mine throughout the years.
I make experimental noise music.
Abstract hummingbird feeder
I drew this when trying to describe to Victoria Mikki the art needed for Eliza Dee’s Universes.
I welded this metal sculpture.
Creating this went into my medical records as a “marathon sewing injury”. Gift for Emmy the Unicorn.
I painted this dog after a woman’s dog died and she wasn’t someone who took many pictures.
I burned the image of one of my partners into a plank of wood as a gift.
I like to sew Halloween costumes. This is from Halloween 2012.
Halloween 2012
I sewed this kilt for Anders to watch his paternal grandfather, Bruce Mitchell, perform on bagpipes.
Halloween 2013 – hand-sewed Hobbes
Halloween 2016; Anders was a ghast from Minecraft.
You’ve heard of Baby Yoda; here is Acadiana as baby Odo.
Halloween 2023; I was Madam Mim
Halloween 2021; I’m Lisa from David the Gnome.
At some point, I thought I could be someone who knit.
Creating this 6 month size baby sweater was torture and the end of my knitting aspirations.
This was a gift for my mother.
I made the top for this bench.
I enjoy quilting, but I’ve gotten overuse injuries, so I make smaller things like baby quilts.
I love abstract art.
A few times in life, I’ve had the energy to throw a pinteresty party.
These were from Anders’ 1st birthday.
I have a lot of artsy baby pictures. Here are a couple of them.
I have a lot of pictures of Anders in scenic places. When he was my only child and there was no school to schedule around, we spent a lot of time exploring the US.
I take a lot of pictures of scenery in general
The design for HDRT’s logo was a thought of mine that I worked on with Airan Wright. He’s an amazing artist!
I just love Leo and wanted to include his picture when I saw it come up while looking for these files.
Baby Salem also cannot be skipped.
And animals in general
I take a lot of building pictures as well.
My spouse and I created these wedding rings for each other from metal bars in a class called “With These Rings” in Port Townsend.
The teacher of that class set the stone we chose for my ring. It is a purple/green round sapphire with a round occlusion that was created when this outer stone formed around an inner stone.
In the right light, you can see the inner stone. I love it.
If you made it this far, I appreciate you looking at ways I’ve spent some of my time on this planet.
I hope you are well. <3
